THE WRITER BEHIND THE STORIES
IMTEDWHITE is a Carolina-based author creating contemporary Black fiction through a Southern and emotionally honest lens. His work explores the relationships, memories, choices, and inherited responsibilities that shape who people become.
Drawing from literature, cinema, music, faith, and lived experience, he builds stories where Black men and women receive the space to love deeply, make mistakes, confront their wounds, and grow without losing the culture and communities that formed them.
ROOTED IN THE SOUTH
The Carolinas are more than a setting in his work. Their campuses, churches, restaurants, neighborhoods, family homes, and traditions carry emotional history and help shape every character.
WRITTEN WITH PURPOSE
His stories center love, brotherhood, faith, family, healing, and legacy while giving Black characters room to be complicated, vulnerable, flawed, and fully human.
