The Apostle

The Apostle is a spiritual action saga about fear, faith, calling, and the cost of carrying a sacred mantle.

Set in a dystopian Southern city called Zyon, the story follows Otis Smalls, a preacher whose life is pulled into a hidden war between the natural and the unseen. What begins as a personal struggle with fear becomes something much larger as Otis discovers that his calling is not only to preach, but to confront the darkness moving beneath the city, the church, and the bloodlines around him.

At its heart, The Apostle is about a man becoming who God called him to be before he feels ready. It blends spiritual warfare, Southern Gothic atmosphere, family legacy, church politics, demonic influence, and sacred mythology into a story where faith is not passive. Faith fights back.

Rise of the Apostle is the beginning of Otis Smalls’ journey.

This story introduces the man before the mantle fully takes hold. Otis is not yet the demon hunter. He is still wrestling with fear, doubt, grief, obedience, and the pressure of being chosen for something he never asked to carry.

As strange events begin to unfold around him, Otis is forced to confront the spiritual forces hiding in plain sight. The city becomes a battleground. The church becomes a doorway. The people around him become part of a larger mystery. And what Otis once thought was only a personal burden begins to reveal itself as a sacred assignment.
